Admission requirements
Professional certificate pathway
This pathway is designed for individuals building foundational career skills. Ideal candidates include:
- Recent graduates: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with little or no professional experience.
- Early-career professionals: 1 to 5 years of work experience, seeking to specialize or gain technical skills.
- Career changers: motivated professionals from any field looking to pivot into a new industry or role.
Executive diploma pathway
This pathway is reserved for experienced professionals and leaders. There are two routes for admission:
- Standard Entry: Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
- Executive Assessment Route: In exceptional cases, business leaders or senior professionals without a Bachelor's degree may be considered. Candidates must demonstrate a significant track record of seven to ten (7-10) years of progressive industry experience, including managerial or leadership responsibilities.
Delivery
Program structure and delivery options
All Edge Institute programs, regardless of the pathway, consist of a carefully curated curriculum of three courses that must be completed in a sequential order. To accommodate the diverse needs of our students and corporate partners, we offer three distinct delivery modes:
Structured Cohort
For learners who thrive on a schedule and peer interaction. Delivered in three distinct 7-week sections alongside a cohort of fellow students.
Self-Paced Independent Study
Maximum flexibility for the disciplined, self-motivated learner. Move through the three sequential courses at your own pace.
Workplace Sponsored Intensive
An in-person, cohort-based model for corporate clients: three intensive one-week courses, all completed within an 18-month period.
